“A drop of poetry in a world of prose.”
~ is what I would want my life to be.
I love reading prose, but in writing I prefer poetry.
I’m a fisherwoman in May, and tries to write poems the rest of the year.
Most of my poems are inspired by the sea.
I live in a town named Dalaguete, named after a tree — the dalakit.
I love trees and I also would love to write about them.
My hometown is two to three hours away from Cebu City. And Cebu is the “Queen City of the South” in Central Visayas; Visayas as center of the three island groups of the Philippines.

Literature for me is the soul of life, with books as their body. (We ourselves are breathing literatures yet to be read.)
My poems are usually written in notebooks but I’m blessed to have dear friends who encourage me, so I share them to the world…
And maybe, just maybe, somewhere out there, kindred spirits will find meaning in the words here.
